The title sounds scary, huh?! Ewww, yuck who wants to eat something that has fat in the title. Some kinds of fat are good for you and your brain NEEDS fat. It’s really the sugar that kills you, not fat. In this recipe the fats I’m using are grass fed low temp pasteurized cream, coconut oil, and pastured eggs.
Pots de crème is a 17th century French dessert custard. This version is chocolate flavored. It’s supposed to be a loose custard but I like mine a little firmer, hence the longer refrigeration time.

Whip your cream first. I just pulsed it in the blender. Add in the honey, cocoa powder, and coconut oil. Blend until smooth, then add in the eggs.

Blend on high and slowly drizzle in the hot coffee. Contiue to blend on high for about 1 minute.

Fill individual serving containers and refrigerate. Refrigerate for minimum 3 hours but its much thicker at about 8 hours.
