Ingredients

  • ¼ cup dried parsley leaf
  • 1 Tbsp dill leaf
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 Tbsp powder buttermilk

Instructions

  • Mix dried herbs and spices in a pint mason jar.
  • Ranch Dip…¼ cup of ranch seasoning mix mixed into 16oz of sour cream
  • Ranch Dressing…¼ cup of mayonaise + ¼ cup of yogurt + ¼ buttermilk + 2Tbsp of ranch seasoning mix

Let me tell you a little secret about this ranch dip seasoning blend. This blend has been about a 6 year work in progress. My husband loves ranch dip maybe more than he loves me. (Nah! How could that be possible) and ingredients in the store bought packet are just awful. Every time I would amend my blend he would know it wasn’t the store bought one. Finally, I got it right but I still have to put an empty ranch dip package on the counter so he doesn’t suspect anything or he won’t eat it. I just put the empty package back in the cabinet till next time. 🙂

Where to buy bulk herbs and spices

Wondering were to buy bulk herbs and spices? I buy my bulk organic herbs and spices from Mountain Rose Herbs because they are usually a fraction of the cost of the grocery store. They also have delicious herbal tea blends. Now get to making your own healthy homemade seasoning blends.
